Ken’s Wine Guide
05/21/2010
This ruby colored Pinot from the Anderson Valley open with a musty strawberry like bouquet with a hint of cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and displays a wonderfully silky mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mild plum and restrained black cherry with notes of oak and blackberry in the background. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins stick around for a while. Pair this young Pinot with a thick cut of prime rib or grilled pork tenderloin.
