This dedication led us to establish our estate vineyard in the heart of the legendary Russian River Valley. This wine is a selection of the best blocks and barrels of wine from this exceptional site. Though rich and supple, with alluring flavors of blackberry and Bing cherry, it is also a beautifully complex, terroir-driven wine.

Production Notes
Varietal Content: 100% Pinot Noir; Cooperage: 100% French oak, 40% new oak, 60% neutral
		Winemaker Notes
Aromas of wild strawberry and sour cherry leap from the glass, followed by more nuanced notes of black tea leaves and rose petals. On the palate, this wine begins with a lovely fruitfulness, before giving way to an elegant, velvety structure supported by a beam of bright acid.
		Production
The 2014 growing season got off to a fast start, with the vines awaking early in spring. Though drought conditions continued throughout California, moderate summer weather and a lack of any long-term heat spikes allowed us to avoid any issues. The steady weather contributed to ideal even ripening, and our first pick came into the winery in early August—one of our earliest starts on record. By the time the first rains arrived in late September, harvest was essentially complete. As a result, for the third straight year, the quality of the harvest was exceptional.
